Water-Smart Landscaping

Landscape irrigation accounts for a majority of all water use in the High Desert, and thus provides the greatest opportunity to conserve water. One of the best ways is to transform water-hogging landscapes, such as lawns, into water-saving gardens that can be as attractive or even more attractive than lawns. You can do this by planting low-water-use native plants that thrive in our desert environment and provide color and beauty to your landscaping.
