High Efficiency Washing Machine Rebates

To Qualify for the Washing Machine Rebate Program:

  1. Purchase and install a new High Efficiency Clothes Washer with a water factor (WF) rating of 6.0 or less as determined by the Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE).
  2. Applicant must have a current water account and receive water directly from a participating water district within MWA's service area.
  3. Applicant must provide a copy of their most recent bill when submitting their High Efficiency Clothes Washer application.
  4. Applicants that do not receive a water bill directly from the water district, such as those residing in mobile home parks, townhouses or condominiums, must obtain a copy of their most recent water bill from their property manager or landlord.
  5. There is a limit of 1 (one) clothes washer per household.
  6. Each new High Efficient Clothes Washer must replace an existing high water use clothes washer.
  7. Applicant agrees to pay any and all sales tax, installation parts, labor and building costs associated with the new High Efficiency Clothes washer installation.
 

This conservation program offers a variety of vouchers, rebates and other incentives to the public, and is dependent upon which element(s) have been adopted by the participating local water provider.
