The value of the High Efficiency Clothes Washer rebate is $175. Any clothes washer cost that exceeds the rebate value is to be paid by the applicant and is the sole responsibility of the applicant. Additional funding may be provided through your local water district's participation and will be added to the rebate check. There is no refund for any unused rebate monies.
Your water district reserves the right to inspect to verify the installation of the new clothes washer model submitted for this rebate program, and if contacted, you agree to allow for a post-installation inspection.
The start date for the Clothes Washer Rebate Program is February 1, 2008. Applications will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis, only while funding is available, or until the program is discontinued. MWA/DWR, in its discretion, may, at any time modify, suspend, or terminate this program without prior notice.
This conservation program offers a variety of vouchers, rebates and other incentives to the public, and is dependent upon which element(s) have been adopted by the participating local water provider.
