High Efficiency Toilet Rebates

Procedure to Receive a Toilet Rebate:

Purchase and install a qualifying Water Sense® HET model using less than 1.28 gpf or less. Proper disposal of the old toilet is the sole responsibility of the applicant. Complete, sign and date this application and submit with 1) a copy of the CURRENT WATER BILL and 2) ORIGINAL dated sales receipt to Niagara Conservation Corp., MWA HET Rebate Program, Post Office Box 94226, North Little Rock, AR 72190-9907. Rebate checks will be issued to qualified applicants within 60 days of receipt.

To Qualify for a Toilet Rebate:

  1. High efficiency toilets (HET)s must be installed in a single-family dwelling built before 1992.
  2. Applicant must have a current water account and receive water directly from a participating water district within MWA's service area.
  3. Applicant must provide a copy of their most recent bill when submitting their high efficiency toilet rebate application.
  4. There is a limit of 2 (two) toilets per household.
  5. Toilets can be one piece (tank and bowl as one unit) or two pieces (tank and bowl) to be fitted together for a complete unit.
  6. Each new toilet must replace an existing high water use toilet using 3.5 gallons per flush (GPF) or more.
  7. Instructions on how to calculate the flush volume of a current toilet are included with this application.
  8. Applicant agrees to not reuse, sell, or give away the old toilet and must provide for proper disposal.
  9. Applicant agrees to pay any and all sales tax, installation parts (ex. wax ring, bolts, flex hose, toilet seat), labor and building costs associated with the HET installation.
 

This conservation program offers a variety of vouchers, rebates and other incentives to the public, and is dependent upon which element(s) have been adopted by the participating local water provider.
